We got great value for our money at Guadalquivir. The room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view of the pedestrian avenue. The location was perfect, close to the beach and surrounded by bars and restaurants. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Carlos at the reception. The rooftop bar was a fantastic place to admire the sunset and take in the panoramic views of the city and river estuary.
The breakfast could have been better, with more variety and options to choose from.

The hotel's location was brilliant - city centre and beach within steps. Spacious and cleaned rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful views from the rooftop terrace, perfect for watching the sunset. Panoramic views from the rooftop bar.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

The room size was good and clean, with a nice view of the sea and beach. The bathroom was also a good size and clean. I enjoyed the fact that the hotel had a roof bar on the 11th floor, which offered stunning views. the buffet breakfast had a wide variety of choices and was enjoyable. The hotel also had convenient car parking available close by.
That the hotel charged my account in advance for half of the total cost of the rooms. This caused complications during check-out, as I had to handle cash with my customers to settle the payment.

The room was spacious, clean, and provided a stunning view of the sea and the Donana National Park. The staff were incredibly pleasant and welcoming, always ready to assist us with anything we needed. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast served at the restaurant, which offered a great variety of hot and cold items. The rooftop bar, with its panoramic views of the city and river estuary, was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sunset. we were impressed with the enhanced comfort and quality services provided by this hotel.
We highly recommend this hotel to our friends.

We loved this hotel! It's conveniently located near the beach and within walking distance of many bars and restaurants in the old town. The hotel facilities were great, especially the rooftop bar- a perfect spot to watch the sunset. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices and was tasty. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We also appreciated the clean and tidy rooms, with a nice view down to the beachfront.
Didn’t dislike anything about the property.

Great location, lovely rooftop bar with amazing views and friendly staff. As a business traveler, I was pleased to find out that the hotel offered a media package with high-speed internet. This allowed me to work comfortably from my room. , the fact that the hotel was located near the historic center and the riverwalk made it easy to find entertainment and good restaurants. Personally, I enjoyed taking a walk along the river in the evening.
No private parking. Although there is a public parking lot nearby, it can be a bit expensive.

This hotel boasts a great central location, just a stone's throw away from the city centre and down to the beachfront. For those who prefer to stay close to the hotel, there are many bars and restaurants in the old town to choose from. The rooftop bar with panoramic views is a must-visit.
The hotel's internet may be weak to non-existent, which may be problematic for those in need of a reliable connection.

The room was a good size and clean, with a nice view of the sea and beach. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. The bed was firm, which I prefer. The wifi worked well, and the rooftop bar on the 11th floor was a great spot to enjoy the views. The buffet breakfast had a good variety of choices. Convenient car parking was available in a nearby parking hall.
Felt well taken care of, no complaints.

I absolutely loved the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of Hotel Guadalquivir. The decoration was charming, with a touch of traditional Andalusian style that made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and clean, making it easy for me to navigate as a senior woman. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pub-lounge, which offered breathtaking views of the city, the sea, and even the Doñana National Park. It was the perfect spot to relax and take in the beauty of Sanlucar de Barrameda.
The only thing I would have asked for to make the vacation even better for senior people is if the staff could have been a bit more attentive. Sometimes it felt like the children working there were a bit overwhelmed and not as helpful as they could have been.

The highlight of my stay was definitely the restaurant's menu of 26 rice dishes, paellas, broths, and fideuás. The rice master, José Luis Chaparro, created a culinary experience that transported me to the mythical Orient Express. The replica of the famous train and the Camarote Terrace added to the excitement and sweet ambiance, just like a scene from the movies.
Limited seating in the room.

The Hotel Guadalquivir in Sanlucar de Barrameda offered a comfortable and accessible stay for senior travelers like myself. The decoration and general areas of the hotel were tastefully done, providing a pleasant ambiance during my stay. I especially loved the rooftop bar with its panoramic views of the city and river estuary. It was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a drink, while also having the opportunity to observe the beautiful swifts and swallows during the summer months.
While my stay at Hotel Guadalquivir was overall enjoyable, one improvement I would suggest is better accessibility for senior travelers. It would have been beneficial to have a ramped access for bringing in luggage, making it easier to maneuver.

Rooftop bar offers fantastic views. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Room felt cramped and small, with an unusable lobby taking up valuable space. Only one easy chair and no reading light nearby.
